I'm a punk bassist myself and was looking for a backup bass to have ready to go when my regular one breaks a string. I know a lot of people look down on Squier and they all have a reason to. I just didn't want to spend a lot on a bass that I'm probably not going to use a whole lot. That being said, it definitely does have a Matt Freeman Grimey/In-Your-Face tone to it (a good thing). It sounds pretty good. (Posted on 3/13/12)
