The DOD 440 is back and revamped for 2014. This pedal makes your guitar speak vowel-like sounds, and cry with slow filter sweeps that react to your pick attack. The DOD 440 is revamped with a up and down switch which lets you choose which part of the sweet you want to emphasize. Guitarists will love the "up" setting for that classic envelope quack. Bassists will love the "down" setting for big dub sub thunder.
The Level parameter controls the sensitivity of the envelope. Adjust the control to tailor the triggering of the filter based upon your pick attack. In a higher sensitivity setting, you don't have to pluck as hard to make the effect audible. The lower the sensitivity, the harder you will have to pluck to make the effect audible.
The Range parameter controls the range of movement of the envelope's sweep. Counter-clockwise sweeps more low frequencies. Clockwise sweeps more high frequencies. The voice switch allows you to choose which part of the filter sweep you want to emphasize.
True Bypass allows your guitar tone to remain pristine even when the new DOD 440 (2014) is off. This is a big difference from the original which would color your bypassed tone.
The modern 9V DC power supply input makes the pedal more pedalboard friendly.
