Great guitar that won't break the bank Review by DinosaurSr.

Overall, I'm pretty impressed with the quality of workmanship on this guitar. I mostly play modern rock / alt rock so the two key things that really stand out the most for me are the adjusto-matic bridge and the decision to place the trem closer to the bridge for better sustain and stability. I love the C-shape neck - very comfortable and easy to play - much like my Strats. I really like the smoothness of the tremolo (much more responsive than a Strat trem). Although the pickup's do sound good, I may end up putting-in a set of Lollar's at some point. One thing that was a bit odd to me was that after playing the guitar the first time out of the box, my fingers on my left hand were covered in this grey something-or-other. After removing the strings, I cleaned and oiled the fretboard and that seemed to take care of it. Strange - as this wasn't something I would have expected to see in a Fender instrument. OK, so taking into account playability, features, overall tone and finish, I would give this guitar a very solid 8 out of 10. (Posted on 5/4/2015)
