Details

The recently released and highly acclaimed Fender Road Worn Series have arrived at ProAudioLand!

A veritable racecar of a bass, the Jazz Bass was born in the 1960s and became the favorite of players who put as many miles on the instrument as they did on their tour buses.

The more it was used (and abused), the more it growled back and became even more comfortable. Fender's new Road Worn '60s Jazz Bass guitar delivers that aged look and feel. Designed with 1960s specs, including a nitrocellulose-lacquer finish, and built to look, sound and feel like it's got more than just a few miles on it.

This is the best bass I have in my collection, point blank. They have everything I need - lightest jazz I've ever held, thin worn in neck, AMAZING tone, perfect hardware and electronics. The road worn thing isn't for everyone, but it's definitely my style. I like to baby my basses and sometimes when inevitable things such as dings and dents appear, it hurts my feelings (no joke, I mean I do get over it eventually *sigh*). Never had that problem with this baby, it was like she was preloved and made for me to my specs and everything. I've had connections with all of my basses, but this is the very first I fell in love with. These are so nice, had to save up and buy it twice. They're that good. IF anything.... anything I had to complain about, it's that sometimes the tuners are a little bit hard to adjust. However, it rarely even goes out of tune for me to fiddle around with them much. If I could only have one bass, it would definitely be this one no exceptions. If the roadworn look isn't your thing, I would definitely recommend checking out the classic series basses. You can thank me later. (Posted on 8/21/2013)

I wasn't fond of the look of the Road Worn series at first, but the tone this bass provides is top notch. The neck and action came out great out of the box. I've read other reviews from other websites in regards to a 60 cycle hum that they get from these pickups, but I haven't experienced that at all. This is a great playing/sounding bass and probably won't buy myself another one anytime soon. (Posted on 8/9/2012)
