Details

Squier’s Vintage Modified ’72 Telecaster Thinline evokes the popular second incarnation of that era’s stylishly enlightened Tele model. The original late-’60s version, with its two single-coil pickups, was updated in 1972 with two great-big, great-sounding Wide Range humbucking pickups for an even more distinctive sound and personality, and that’s exactly what Squier gives you here, along with a gorgeous semi-hollow ash body and white pearloid pickguard, smooth-playing maple neck and fingerboard, six-saddle string-through-body bridge and much more.

Heck of a deal on a nice Thinline Review by Tennessee Strat

I didn't really need another Thinline, but at this price I just had to act irrationally: The Squier '72 Vintage Modified Thinline sounds awesome, and to my surprise it actually is way better made than my white Fender FSR Thinline that cost a $1000 bucks. The pickups in this Made in China Squier are sweet sounding and the craftsmanship is better than what expected: Flawless!! Taking this inexpensive instrument to a gig always gets my buddies all disturbed because they know I paid less than $300 for this stunning Thinline. Buying from Pro Audio Land is the way to go, especially if you can get a sweet deal like this. Just counted my Teles: I'm up to seven and I still have room on my wall for more. (Posted on 2/1/2016)
