A decent short scale option Review by Syd

I have had the pleasure of purchasing and demoing many short scale basses. I had an opportunity to purchase one of these Broncos and overall it wasn't too bad. This bass offers a maple neck which isn't too common in short scale models it seems, I like that it makes the tone somewhat brighter. The neck on the Bronco is a little thicker in comparison to my other short scale basses, yet still fast enough to be efficient. The build quality was pretty good considering the price they go for and the light weight is definitely a great aspect. My only gripe regarding this bass would be the pickup and tuners, though both are easily upgradable without spending too much. The tuners don't seem to hold very well and the pickup is pretty thin sounding. Other than that, I feel this is a pretty good bass for young children or even those wanting to learn about modifying.
