This quartet of brand new Groove Tube, matched and in the box EL34 (GT-EL34-MQ-M) power tubes with a rating of 6, toward the high end of Medium Range Performance for normal distortion and best for all around tone. They are an exclusive GT design based on the original Mullard EL34's of the 60's which were the stock tubes in all early Marshall and Hiwatt amps. Mullard produced these for about 15 years, and this is a faithful reproduction of the classic XF2 dual-getter version. These produce a big, fat and well-defined tone and really "wakes up" reissue amps to perform like the originals, As close as your going to get to vintage Marshall power tube performance. Restore or improve that vintage sound in your amp by replacing those weak or worn out tubes with these more powerful tubes. Have a spare quartet on hand just in case.
