The Multiac Nylon Duet features the same design as the SA but with a Rosewood fingerboard and the—new for 2002—L.R. BaggsTM I-Beam Duet system. Plugged in, the Multiac Duet produces the sort of fidelity that you normally associate with a high-end condenser mic on a full body acoustic guitar. The Duet comes equipped with a beautifully integrated system from L.R. BaggsTM that includes the I-Beam transducer and an under-saddle pickup and sophisticated preamp. The output section includes a regular 1/4" jack as well as a balanced XLR out with phantom power capability.
