The ultimate AB-Y guitar amp switcher! Switchbone is a creative tool that is designed to allow your guitar to drive and control two amplifiers without introducing noise, distortion, clicks or pops. Most importantly, the Switchbone will retain the natural sound and feel of your instrument.
The Switchbone employs the same Class-A circuit as the critically acclaimed Radial JD7 Injector for exceptional audio performance. Radial's unique Drag control provides single-knob load correction to re-introduce the natural relationship between the amp and guitar pickup that is invariably lost when the guitar is buffered or split to drive two amps. To eliminate hum and buzz caused by ground loops, the Switchbones second output is transformer equipped for 100% isolation. A 180 polarity reverse switch keeps both amps in phase.
Radial's acclaimed VariBoost power booster gives you complete foot-switchable control over boost gain and mid boost for soloing. The innovative ToggleMode footswitch with large flashing LED's simplifies switching and eliminates tap dancing. The tuner output is always on for quick tune-ups and buffered to keep your signal path clean.

Switchbone Setup:
Plug your guitar into the input and two amplifiers into OUT-1 and OUT-2. The ground lift switch can be set to eliminate ground loops between the two amps if required and a 180 polarity reverse switch allows you to set the amps to be either in or out of phase as desired. Radial's innovative 'Drag' control adjusts to correct the pickup loading so your guitar can sound exactly like it does plugged straight into the amp. The tuner out is buffered so it can't interact with the guitar signal going to the amps.

Great for strat Review by Joey
Value Quality Features I was really impressed at the way this thing works with my strats or single coils in general. No tone loss or coloration and no loss of sustain. It drives my amps really well.
When I use it on other guitars that are humbucker equipped it requires more adjustment of the drag control to avoid loss in tone or sustain.
Overall a great product and it does what its supposed to-and better than other switchers I've used.
Build quality is second to none and I have no doubt that this thing will stand the test of time. (Posted on 4/18/12)
