The BB Preamp offers awide variety of sounds. It's capable of a 30dB+ clean boost with an adjustable 15dB two band active EQ which adds a wide range of harmonic content to your ideal sound.
The BB also utilizes a pre-gain stage which allows the Pedal to go from a very pristine clean to a very smooth,compressed, overdriven sound.
True bypass for eliminating any signal interference when switched off. All hand wired and hand crafted in the U.S.A.
Can be used with AC adaptor (optional) or 9V Battery.

Great Overdrive/Distortion Pedal Review by Chuck McCrory
Features Value Quality What do Scott Henderson, Steve Lukather, Greg Howe, Lee Ritenour, & Andy Timmons have in common? They use the Xotic BB-Preamp as part of their live rig and for studio work.
The pedal is nice & small (The same size as an MXR pedal) but “Road Worthy” with a nice textured orange paint job.
I am using the pedal in front of Fender Hot Rod Deluxe III amp, using one of 3 PRS guitars and an American Stratocaster.
I found the Xotic BB-preamp to be a nice, smooth & creamy distortion pedal. I use it in the clean channel of my amp and get just enough drive for playing blues or classic rock. You can find a few YouTube videos out there where the artist listed above use this pedal to enhance the overdrive in their touring amps.
Another great feature is the treble & bass EQ knobs, which definitely gives you more tweaking capabilities. I give this pedal an A+!!!
