LR Baggs iBeam Bridge Plate Transducer System
This revolutionary bridge plate transducer easily sticks to the bridge plate on the inside of the guitar and does not affect the acoustic tone of the guitar in any way. The iBeam is microphonic enough to hear the rich (but correct) texture of finger squeak and top tapping, but is resistant to feedback and gives you excellent amplified sound without a hint of piezo quack. Included with each iBeam is a placement jig that allows you to install the pickup in minutes and get the ideal placement for the transducer inside the guitar. nice open sounding acoustic pu Review by Elias
Value Quality Features Upon reading many different reviews of different lr baggs models, I found the ibeam to be the best choice for my style (finger picking).
Relatively easy install and quite unobtrusive, I like that it is out of view.
The sound is bright and open, quite natural and well suited to finger picking.
Really picks up the tonal subtleties that define good picking and a great sounding instrument.
Overall very happy with the product and have no doubt on its quality. (Posted on 5/3/12)
