Details

It's not just a dual coil trying to emulate a single coil.

This is a true Single coil and it's our quiet noise reduced Sensor design! We added to a classic design. This revised and enhanced new lace sensor Hot Gold has slightly stronger output. They retain all the definition of the regular Gold Lace Sensors but add a firm bottom and singing mid range. Excellent from clean to vintage growl. Our new most popular pickup.

These Lace Sensor Hot Gold's have a fat, full bottom end, a singing midrange and all the high end sparkle and class you would expect from a killer Strat everything is there like never before.

Three-notes into these pickups and you too will hear the greatness we have all been waiting for.

"The Tech Talk"
Upgraded hotter Barium Ferrite magnets, Patented Lace Micro Matrix Combs for killer Vintage tone, available with an optional Hot Bridge 13.2k for more power and cut for harder rockin' and searing solos. Or the Standard Set all 6.0k's for neck, middle and bridge for that traditional Stratocaster vibe. Fatten it to a hot humbucker by installing a Hot Gold Dually in your Paul or PRS and hear the blanket being lifted off your amp!

I have been soundstruck. My new Lace Sensor Hot Gold pickups rule. Such an improvement over the Fender noiseless.....I should say toneless pickups that came with the guitar. My guitar tone is now inspirational. Now I just need more guitars for more Lace pickups.. (Posted on 10/19/2011)

The Lace Hot Gold pickups are sweet. You get loads of tone that you can't get with the vintage noiseless pickups. They can give you a ballsy blues tone, a twangy country tone, a full-sounding rock tone -- anything you've heard a strat do, these things can do. While they sound amazing overdriven or clean, I've found they also handle distortion quite nicely. If you want that SRV/John Mayer tone, match these with some heavy-gauged strings -- lighter strings will give you a more Clapton/Knopfler -esque tone. They sound wonderful either way. They have made my old American Standar Strat my new favorite guitar again! Best Strat tone I've heard. If you want that classic stratocaster sound, look no further. (Posted on 9/16/2011)

First, I started off with a Standard Strat. I put the Fender locking tuners on it and a roller nut, but I felt it was still missing something. So I bought 3 Lace Sensor Hot Golds (with the 13,2k bridge pickup) and installed them. This is by far the best combination ever. This guitar is now flawless. The neck pickup, I think, is the best. It has that fat, crisp, punchy sound that Clapton and Hendrix use. The middle pickup is great for clean jazz chords. The bridge is amazing for a classic blues distortion. These pickups are completely noiseless and are by far the best pickups you can buy for your strat. I haven't used the Golds. I know they came first. But I can tell you, the Hot Golds are the bomb. I have a 2004 American Stratocaster and I play through a 65 Deluxe Reverb reissue. I read many reviews online, and while it may have been a quick decision to just buy a pickup set from word of mouth, I was not disappointed. These pickups give you a very tight, almost compressed sound while not losing the classic Stratocaster twang and glassy tones. Even though I am very picky about overdriven tone, these pickups easily satisfy my needs. The lows and mids are tight, while it is easy to produce leads that cut through the mix. For a pickup that gives you a tight, colorful overdriven sound and a clear, well rounded clean tone look no further than Lace sensor Hot Golds. (Posted on 8/24/2011)
