Dave Matthews Band Sets September Release for New Album

RCA Records have set a release date for the brand new studio album by Dave Matthews Band, Away From the World, with a street date scheduled for September 11.

Dave Matthews Band reunited with Steve Lillywhite for the record, the same who produced the group's first three albums - Under The Table And Dreaming, Crash and Before These Crowded Streets.

Away From the World will be available in its standard CD format, digital download and vinyl print as well as deluxe versions of the CD and digital editions which will contain exclusive new live tracks. And in case that’s still not enough Dave Matthews, a super-deluxe edition will include the deluxe CD, a DVD, a 2012 tour photo book and more.

Dave Matthews Band is currently on tour and have been playing several tracks off their as of yet unrealeased album inclusing “Mercy” which has already been set as the first single.

The group plays the second of two shows at Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, NJ tonight and will perform at Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey, PA this Friday, June 29.The summer outing will conclude on September 9 with a show at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA.
