The Foo Fighters have conquered the top of the UK album charts since the group's latest effort 'Wasting Light' was released last week. The album was recorded inside frontman Dave Grohl's garage with nothing but analog equipment and produced by legendary studio engineer Butch Vig.

Last Tuesday, synonymous with the release of 'Wasting Light', the Foo Fighters played a 111-minute set in New York's Ed Sullivan Theatre for the Live on Letterman show. They honored the Beatles by imitating the look of the Fab Four's 1964 U.S. debut performance on the same stage with matching suits and filmed it in black & white.

They played their freshly released album in its entirety and then continued to play a set of classic hits like "Hero", "All My Life", "Monkey Wrench" and "Everlong".
