KISS to End March Madness With Free Concert

KISS live in Montreal

Already set to begin touring this summer with fellow ladies' men Motley Crue, it’s looking like it’s going to be a pretty busy year for the Detroit City rockers, as KISS will be playing a free concert in New Orleans as part of the NCAA’s Final Four weekend. The band will kick off “The Big Dance Concert Series” in the Big Easy Friday, March 30th.

The Times-Picayune reports that The Black Keys and Jimmy Buffet will also be joining in the “March Madness” weekend festivities with free concerts of their own. "The Big Dance Concert Series” will be held at Woldenberg Park near the Mississippi River in downtown New Orleans.

KISS, who last played in New Orleans back in 2009, have completed recording their new album, Monster, set to release later this spring.
