Red Hot Chili Peppers Live
Free Red Hot EP from Red Hot Chili Peppers
Things are about to get a bit hotter here in the states as the Red Hot Chili Peppers are making their way to North America as part of their “I’m With You” world tour. In celebration for the event, the band will be releasing a free EP available for download on iTunes or on their official website right here.
The tracks were chosen by drummer Chad Smith and feature five songs from various points in their career recorded live during the tour.
Their North American appearance was initially delayed after singer Anthony Kiedis underwent foot surgery to correct a detached flexor tendon as well as the removal of a crushed sesamoid bone. Kiedis is expected to make a full recovery.

Adler Apologizes for "Hack" Remarks
It seems like it was just yesterday when we first reported ex Guns ‘N Roses drummer Steven Adler’s comments about his former frontman, more or less calling Axl Rose and his current bandmates “a band of hacks.”
Actually, that was last Friday and what difference a weekend makes, as Adler’s camp has released a statement apologizing for the drummer’s expressive comments.
"Sometimes my emotions get the best of me when talking about my former band" states Adler. "It's hard to see your ex in bed with somebody else. We created one of the biggest selling debut albums of all time and it's no secret that I want to finish what we started 25 years ago and play together at the Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame. The guys that Axl has put together are all great players. They're not hacks in the sense that they can't play, they're all incredible musicians. I just meant that they are not the original lineup. I would like to apologize to Axl, Bumblefoot, D.J., Tommy, Dizzy, Richard, Frank, and Chris for my statement."
And for all those interested in how the saga will unfold, don’t forget to catch the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony when it broadcasts this Thursday, April 5.
