Cocaine and Marijuana among Drugs Found in Houston’s Toxicology Report
The L.A. County Coroner’s office has announced the toxicology reports for the late Whitney Houston and has found traces of cocaine in the “I Will Always Love You” songstress.
The official cause of death is accidental drowning but the report also attributes heart disease and cocaine as contributory factors.
According to officials, marijuana, Xanax, Flexeril and Benadryl were also found in her system. TMZ reports that a source familiar with the investigation has told them that it is “very possible” that the late diva had a heart attack that may have been triggered by cocaine, causing Houston to lose consciousness and drown, although investigators initially found no traces of the drug.
Whitney Houston died on February 11, 2012 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
Bret Michaels To Get a Little Help From His Friends
According to recent interview with Azcentral.com, Poison frontman Bret Michaels is set to release a solo album which will feature plenty of the rocker turned reality star’s famous friends, including Jimmy Buffett, Ace Frehley and Loretta Lynn among several others.
The new album, entitled “Get Your Rock On,” will consist of several original songs as well as old classics.
When asked about the album, Michaels said: [It’s a] really amazing record. I put a lot of hard work into this. And everyone that's on it, I'm not only friends with but fans of. I've got Ace Frehley from Kiss and Michael Anthony from Van Halen. I redid "Nothin' But a Good Time" and played everything on it but the lead guitar and bass. Ace Frehley plays the solo and Michael Anthony plays bass. Then, "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" has Joe Perry from Aerosmith and Hugh McDonald from Bon Jovi. And it's got Loretta Lynn singing it with me. Then, Jimmy Buffett, me and him did “Margaritaville” live.
“Get Your Rock On” is set to be released later this summer.
Tommy Lee Reacts To Gene Simmons’ Rihanna Diss
Last Tuesday during the press event for the upcoming KISS and Motley Crue tour, Genne Simmons’ called out pop crooner Rihanna, calling the diva “fake,” among other things. “No karaoke singers allowed,” said Simmons. “No fake bulls**t. Leave that to the Rihanna, Shmianna and anyone who ends their name with an 'A.' This is real stuff.”

And with that, we leave you with Lee’s response: "Gene Simmons recently mentioned at our Motley/KISS tour announcement on Tuesday about his distaste for faking it on stage. I somehow got lumped into that by saying that I, too, am tired of all the watered-down, not-so-real performances on award shows/live concerts/etc.," Lee said in a statement. "I am a fan of Rihanna's and think she's an amazing singer/entertainer and I think you all know how much I f**king love electronic music and dance. I make and perform electronic music live. And who am I to say what's good/bad/real or fake? It is what it is, right?..."
Something tells me Simmons might not be inviting Lee next time KISS Saves Santa! Have a great weekend music fans!
