Seymour Duncan SJM-3n "Quarter Pound" neck pickup for Jazzmaster. Features large 1/4" pole pieces and Alnico V magnets for increased output. Expect a bright and punchy sound with a harder edge as compared to stock. The neck position is reverse wound/reverse polarity to reduce noise when both pickups are used together. Includes wiring diagram and mounting hardware.
Application: High output true single-coil. Recommended for blues, classic rock, garage, heavy rock, classic metal and nu-metal.
Description: This pickup was designed for players who need a full frequency response with slammin' output. The Quarter-Pound features hand-polished, quarter-inch diameter magnets combined with a custom coil wind for more sustain for lead work. You get more punch and drive than both the Vintage (SJM-1) and Hot (SJM-2) models. Does not include a cover.
