Details

The Kustom KXB100 is a 100-watt bass combo amplifier with a 15-inch Kustom speaker and Bass, Lo-Mid, Hi-Mid and Treble controls. The preamp provides both Gain and Volume controls and can dial up classic bass tones or more aggressive sounds with a hotter gain structure.

The KXB100 offers an auxiliary input for plugging in an MP3 or CD player to practice along with tunes and a 1/8-inch headphone input that silences the internal speaker for late-night playing.

The KXB100 provides a balanced XLR Line Out with Ground Lift and Volume control. An Effects Loop with Send and Return jacks offers flexibility for integrating external effects and processors.

All KXB Series amplifiers provide a five-year, transferable electronics warranty to give buyers extra piece of mind with their purchase.

Excellent Amp Review by Asphalt Bass

I had played through a fellow bass player's KXB100 and was sold on it.
I'm a working musician and have been gigging with this amp playing jazz, blues, and pop/rock. I've had more than enough volume for the rooms I've played and on several occasions needed to use the DI in the back of the amp to a sound system with great success.
For working musicians, this amp will give you the stage volume you need and will be adequate for small to medium size rooms. Anything larger, you would use the DI to the sound system, put it on an amp stand and you're set.
I haven't used the external speaker connection. For myself, if I really needed that much more power, I'd get another one of these and use two at once.
Also, the quality of your sound & volume will depend upon working with your bass's pickups / tone controls and their output with the settings of the amp. (Posted on 10/8/2014)
