Kiss Guitarist Ace Frehley To Release Memoir Sequel

Former Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley is working on a second book right now, which will be the second memoir that he has released. Frehley released No Regrets in 2011, his first memoir. He recently told the following to IHeartGuitar:

“I’ve started working on a new album, I’m writing a new book… there are a lot of good things on the horizon. At this point, I think [the next book is] just going to be an extension of No Regrets.

“There’s so much I left out because of the deadline, but after talking with so many different people I’ve got so many stories that have eluded me over the years. And there just wasn’t enough room to put them into No Regrets, and I was past the deadline as it was. But I think I’m going to come out with something in the effect of like a ‘No Regrets II.’

The most exciting part of Frehley’s announcement, at least to all of us guitarists and gear heads out there, is this:

“But I also have the idea to put out a guitar book with all my guitar effects, tricks, recording techniques… I’ve learned a lot of tricks from working with a lot of great producers over the years, and I think I should write a book about it.”

You can bet that if and when this guitar and recording book is released, there will be a feature here at ProAudioLand!

In other Ace Frehley news, he will be the guest of honor at the Full Moon Tattoo & Horror Festival, to occur April 6-8 at the Nashville Convention Center in Tennessee.

The 11th annual event is a three-day convention featuring celebrity appearances – including Norman Reedus from The Walking Dead series – tattoo artists, plus comic and movie vendors.
