Kings Of Leon bassist Jared Followill says new album due
out this September.

The Kings Of Leon have completed work on their upcoming new studio album and will be releasing the record in September – this according to comments made by bass player Jared Followill in a recent interview.

NME interviewed the bassist for their current issue in which Followill had this to say about the new album: "I thought we were going to make a really mature album but I'm amazed how youthful it sounds. It's like a mix of Youth & Young Manhood and Because Of The Times."

Fans here in the states will soon have the opportunity to catch the Grammy Award-winning band when they hit several music festivals this spring including Bottle Rock in Napa Valley, the Hangout Music Festival in Gulf Shores, as well as AL and the Governor’s Ball Music Festival in New York.

Europe will see its fair share of the band as well as the Kings Of Leon have also booked a number of shows across the pond for June. Things kick off with a gig at London’s 02 Arena on June 12th and 13th along with a performance at Pinkpop Festival in the Netherlands on the 15th. They will follow with a performance at Nova Rock 2013 in Australia on June 16th and Feshalle in Frankford soon after on the 19th, along with a few more stops afterwards.
